Only time I got to see him was when The Band opened for the Dead 7/31,8/1/73 at Roosevelt Stadium. Such sad news. Amazing artist.

We were really hoping to see him some time this year. I guess that won't happen. So sad.

I still am kicking myself about missing his show at the Fillmore Silver Spring, MD a while back. I actually had the tickets. I hear the shows with him, Larry Campbell, and Teresa Williams were awesome.
